Don’t try to fight it. iPads are going to take over the world (I take mine to the gym)

I took my iPad to the gym last night. The gym is the only place I watch crappy live TV with commercials. But no more! I moved our Airport Extreme closer to the front of our apartment so I can get WiFi there!

It feels like I just got back an hour of my life to read or watch *good* content.

Geeks all over the world (myself included) are spending way too much time with their new best friend.

  2. Dude I rock MPG4s (ever watch 300 on a stairclimber?) on my iPhone at the Gym, but this looks pretty bad ass. I didn’t consider the iPad for working out!

  3. The iPad might cut the US birth rate down a few notches, if the picture is any hint. Funny, my Tablet PC is something we can share (had it for about 4 years now, great fun). But no argument, this iPad thing will take over the world.

  4. Interesting… over the years I’ve filled my TC1100 with eBooks, hundreds of hours of testimony for our state legislature, agendas, minutes, movies, handwritten and Word notes and letters, emails, etc., etc., and it weighs just the same as when I bought it. Isn’t science wonderful? I’m not sure what an iPad will hold in comparison. All the services you’ll pay for and apps you’ll buy eventually will lighten your wallet in compensation, anyway.

It’s heavier than you would expect it to be just by looking at it. But after using it for a few minutes, you get used to the weight and it disappears. At the end of the day, it’s only 1.5 pounds and the numbers don’t lie.<br><div><div></div></div></body></html>
