I’m very lucky to have five incredible guys as my groomsmen

Wedding planning has been moving along pretty well. We got a ton of stuff done while we were in Buffalo over Christmas. We’ve already got a date, venue, photographer, wedding planner, guest list, cake, florist, DJ… Basically everything but the Indian stuff, which I guess I’m in charge of.

Through this process, I’ve been thinking a lot about all my family, friends, how I met Kate, and how I got to where I am today. It’s been an incredible journey.

In particular, my 5 groomsmen are the best friends a guy could ask for. These gentlemen have changed my life, and have made me who I am today. They are more than just good company. They have taught me things, and made me who I am today.

Here’s a quick rundown of some stuff I found interesting about these 5 guys:

5 went to Stanford
3 live on the east coast (2 in New York)
3 were in the same room when I met Kate
1 was my wing man (thanks, Roy!)
2 were in the same freshman dorm as me (1 was my roommate)
2 were in the same house with me my senior year
3 have been roommates at some point
1 is a Phi Psi
2 are Indian
5 are engineers
0 are on Twitter 🙂

I just need all these guys to move to San Francisco and we’ll be all set 🙂

  4. This is a momentous occasion! I attended the Indian wedding of a university colleague of mine two summers ago. I still think about it. I was blown away by the rich culture, deep tradition and family support. I still have the invitation standing on a shelf in my kitchen. Deep red with gold lettering and gold trim and rhinestone edging and cream colored inserts and flamboyant font. It’s a momentous occasion. Enjoy!
