Facebook iPhone Dev Quits Project Over Apple Tyranny – TechCrunch

I couldn’t agree with Hewitt’s sentiments more, and it’s a breath of fresh air to see such a prominent developer quit the App Store. Apple has built some truly fantastic products, but their approach to the App Store is frightening — especially given the fact that other platforms may see the iPhone’s success and start adopting a similar model.

Yeah, it sure would be terrible to see other people copying Apple’s successful model and also being successful. That would just be the most terrible thing in the world. hahaha.

People, get over it. It’s Apple’s device and it’s their rules. If you don’t like them, go get a Droid.

  1. I SUPPOSE I have to agree with that. However, Apple’s imperious tone about just about everything will some day bite them where the sun don’t shine. For me, the Apple brand is supreme. I love their stuff. However, the device belongs to me. I don’t rent it from Apple. Personally I don’t hack my phone. I like it just the way it is. But if I should want to do that it’s nobody’s damned business. The carrier is another matter and another day. And that day will come.
