I don’t think I could live any closer to the epicenter of Web 2.0

Friday was the office warming party for Scribd. They just moved to awesome new offices in SOMA. Congrats on the growth guys!

When I looked up their address on Google Maps, I was surprised to find them literally about 50 feet from my apartment. I knew I was close to the Twitter building (Scribd is in the same space), but I didn’t realize it was *right there*. They couldn’t be an closer.

  1. nice! that’s awesome! I would prefer to live over by fillmore though. I’m not used to the city yet! Do you run into Twitter people at coffee shops, bars, etc?

  2. <html><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space; ">Surprisingly have not run into Twitter folks. I see other startup guys around, but not Twitter. Maybe they lock themselves in their offices and code all the time :)<br><div><div></div></div></body></html>

  3. With Google Streets, I could see your face in the window, no privacy at all. Nice condo! You could probably shout across the street and call the Twitters. Boy, I would love to take my kid to the Exploratorium…Do many people have boats in the area ?

  4. What a provocative headline, Sachin. And then it’s true, too… I LOVE posterous, by the way. Love, love, love it… You genius!

  5. Indeed – totally *no fair* living so close to Web 2.0 Central! As Meri says Posterous is brilliant – thanx again – i am talking it up to all who will sit still long enough here in Oz legal land.
