  1. Yes, I’m discovering that the BB 8900 records in 240×180. That is making me seriously reconsider my decision.Do you have a 3G S? If so do you have a problem with file sizes and emailing videos from the iPhone?

  2. <html><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space; ">I have the 3gs. I love it. I can email videos about 50 seconds long straight from the phone to posterous without any trouble. I’m not sure why it’s even limited there, because both Mobile Me and Posterous can handle much more.<div><br></div><div>But i’m happy with that. No one wants to watch something longer than 50 seconds anyway. And if I need to post something larger, I can sync to Iphoto then email<br><div><div></div></div></div></body></html>

  3. That's really good to hear. Out of curiosity, about what size is a 50 second video on the iPhone? On the 8900 it's at least 4+ MB. <br><br>Also, I think the limit is a carrier limit rather than a Mobile Me/Posterous/Gmail limit. I don't think they want the network clogged up with 25MB videos and such.

  4. By clicking "download" above, you can see that the original MOV file for this 47 second video was just 4.7MB in size.I don’t know how outgoing video on BB’s work, but the iPhone just uses your email provider to send a normal email with an attachment. So it should have no problem sending 20MB+ emails

  5. BB sends vids the same way but unless you're on WiFi that email with attachment has to go through AT&amp;T's network. I'm pretty sure they're the one's who are capping the attachment size. Although I just tried to send a 5MB file and no luck so it looks like the iPhone may have a higher cap than BB.
