I can't believe I've been in New York for almost 3 months now. My parents think I'm only going to be here for a year (we'll see about that), which would mean I'm already 25% through my time here! The past few months have been packed with great food and fun.

Sadly I haven't uploaded any pictures at all this year, party because of laziness, but mostly because I no longer have a ridiclously fast Stanford or Apple internet connection. But don't worry, they will be up soon (ok, now Gary and Joe are worried).

A couple weeks ago Julie came to visit, and it was great! Well, St Patrick's Day was a lot of crazy drinking. But Saturday night was excellent. We saw Mamma Mia, which I highly recommend, and then had an awesome dinner at In Vino, a tiny Italian wine bar in the east village.

This past Saturday was 12 solid hours of partying. It started out with a Pac 10 schools Alumni beer pong tournament (where Gary and I were eliminated in about 10 minutes), followed by dinner and wine, Soju in Korea town, then Kamakaze shots at Mercury Bar. Hmmm, seems like we were drinking in the wrong order. 4pm to 4am! Sadly, Japas wouldn't let us in at 4am to sing :(

I put together a website of all the things I've done in New York (or what I can remember) and what I want to do before I leave. Please send me any suggestions or comments. I still need to go through and add reviews to more of these places.

It ended up being way more food than attractions :).

There's also a section there (which needs work) on planing a trip to visit me!

Update: AOL Cityguide best of 2006 is up and I've already found 20-30 places I want to try. Look for an update on my to do list soon. I scanned through both the NY and SF lists and it seems like I've already been to more of the NY "bests" than I did while in SF. Gary points out I have also spent way more money :(
